Why Two PACs?

Due to McCain-Feingold restrictions, we need separate fundraising vehicles if we wish to effectively impact federal and state elections. Our state PAC, Houston Area Conservatives PAC, supports the local candidates and issues (i.e. any candidates for Harris County positions or in Austin). Our Federal PAC, Houston Area Conservatives Federal PAC, supports the federal candidates (i.e. any candidates for the U.S. Senate or U.S. House of Representatives).
