Our Candidates

Why endorse specific candidates? The main reason is that many voters and even HAC members do not realize how local politicians can impact our individual taxes and government spending levels. Often, people only look at the top of the ticket when the local candidates are the ones who have the greatest impact on our day-to-day life. Despite its judicial sounding name, the County Judge position in Harris County has little to do with civil and criminal courts and everything to do with determining Harris County property tax rates! Therefore, by identifying some importation positions/candidates/races, we hope to clarify what is at stake.
